Galveston Ballet proudly showcases our dedicated dancers through live ballet performances in the community.

Don Quixote

Don Quixote follows the chivalrous, if delusional, Don Quixote as he sets out on a quest for adventure and the heart of his idealized Dulcinea.

His journey leads him to the bustling city of Barcelona, where he encounters the lively Kitri, a young woman in love with the barber, Basilio. 

Don Quixote mistakes Kitri for his Dulcinea, leading to a series of mistaken identities, humorous misunderstandings, and romantic entanglements.  

The ballet is a vibrant celebration of love, dreams, and the power of imagination, filled with dazzling and charming characters.

Come enjoy Galveston Ballet’s full production of Don Quixote, a spirited and comedic ballet inspired by Miguel Cervantes's novel.

Bringing the magic of the holidays to Galveston

“The Nutcracker Suites" is a charming, condensed rendition of Tchaikovsky's beloved ballet.

This performance captures the magic of the original by showcasing the most iconic variations. It brings the enchanted magic of this ballet to community events in Galveston, Texas.

Immerse yourself in the whirlwind of captivating dances including the Russian Trepak, the whimsical Marzipan, the delicate Chinese Tea, the sultry Arabian Coffee, the fiery Spanish Chocolate, the comical Mother Ginger, the precise Toy Soldiers, the graceful Ballerina Doll, the enchanting Drosselmeyer, the ethereal Snowflakes, and the dazzling Sugar Plum Fairy.

This festive and timeless performance brings the holiday spirit to life, making it a cherished annual tradition for the Galveston community.
