Don Quixote

Don Quixote follows the chivalrous, if delusional, Don Quixote as he sets out on a quest for adventure and the heart of his idealized Dulcinea.

His journey leads him to the bustling city of Barcelona, where he encounters the lively Kitri, a young woman in love with the barber, Basilio.

Don Quixote mistakes Kitri for his Dulcinea, leading to a series of mistaken identities, humorous misunderstandings, and romantic entanglements.

The ballet is a vibrant celebration of love, dreams, and the power of imagination, filled with dazzling and charming characters.

Galveston Ballet’s most recent full production of Don Quixote, a spirited and comedic ballet inspired by Miguel Cervantes's novel was a huge success.
